Today I was shocked to learn that I haven’t blogged anything new on my own blog for over 2 years! I love blogging, in fact I blog several posts a month for different companies – just not my own. I’m not saying I’m back, I’m saying I’ve been so overwhelmed the past couple of years, kind of like I’ve been treading water. I’d like to say that I’ll start moving forward sometime soon, but I can’t say that with any confidence. I can say that lots has been happening in my personal life that has kept me from having the time to share. I have three young kids, work from home as a consultant for several companies, have a home daycare, and run a small landscaping company that my husband and I started to offer work experience for youth… so to say I’ve been busy is an understatement.
Anyways, today I read a blog post that reminded me of why I started my blog in the first place – many pastors’ wives are feeling overwhelmed, over-judged, and under appreciated. This post and its vast amount of comments resonated with me so much that I had to post the link here. Thanks goes to Ryan Huguley for sharing it on his blog: http://ryanhuguley.com/preaching/6-ways-to-serve-your-pastors-wife-on-sunday. If this speaks to you at all please leave a comment.
